drop me a line

My yin is diva, my yang is geek
I had a passing relationship with frogger in the eighties. I got my first personal computer when I was in high school during which time I also learned my way around desktop design applications on the school newspaper. However, my passion for technology was inspired when I hooked my Apple Powerbook 100 up to my first T1 line in the dorms in '94. The term "information highway" had just been coined, the world wide web was still new, my little lap top couldn't handle images... but I was hooked.

As a journalism student I channelled by curiosity into articles about the latest technology and trends. The more I researched, the more I really wanted to look under the hood and understand what was going on. Since then I have gone from writing about technology to designing and developing technology. I have been a creative professional in the "web space" for over six years.

Over the years I have armed myself with a broad base of skills which enable my specialty. Specifically, I match my graphic and information design abilities with solid capabilities developing in a broad base of programming languages. Additionally, my years as a consultant have given me a solid foundation in the best practices which guide: production processes, site architectures, front-end technologies and visual design.

To learn more about me take a moment and cruise through this site. It has been designed to reflect my personal style, professional experience and provide a space for me to have a little fun.
